Ghana High Commission Sections
The Chancery oversees the overall administration of the High Commission.

This section is responsible for the general promotion and marketing of Ghana through tourism, culture, political and multilateral activities within Ghana and in the UK.

This section’s remit is to promote trade and investment potential in Ghana within the UK business community and beyond. The section also monitor’s and evaluate Ghanaian export commodities to the UK market. They generally engage in bilateral assignments relating to trade, business and investment.

This section administers and assist implement Ghana Government Scholarships. It also engages in activities that support the educational needs of Ghana from the UK. The section also assists in recruiting skilful Ghanaians for jobs in the public and private sectors in Ghana.

This section co-ordinates the training of officers from Ghana studying in the UK as well as engage in the promotion of bilateral relations between Ghana and the UK.

The Consular Section exists to provide consular services to Ghanaians and nationals of other countries who reside in the UK. All Passport and Visa enquiries and applications can be made through our office in Highgate, while all other consular requests or enquiries can be made at our office at Belgrave Square.

This section coordinates activities between the Ghana Police Service and UK Police Forces in the area of combating transnational crimes and training and is also responsible for the processing of criminal record checks.

The Treasury Section is responsible for the financial management of the Mission. The section is also responsible for the monitoring, coordination, processing and reporting of all pensioners of Ghana currently living in the UK.
