LEGALISATION OF FOREIGN DOCUMENTS

To legalise foreign documents for use in Ghana through the Ghana High Commission UK, the following steps must be followed:

1. Original Document and Apostille

  • The document must first be apostilled by the relevant authorities (such as the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office, or equivalent).

2. Fee

  • The legalization fee is £80 per document.
  • Payment must be made via Postal Order, payable to the “Ghana High Commission”, or via card payment at the Mission. (No cash payment allowed)

3. Submission

  • The Ghana High Commission accepts submissions on Tuesdays to Thursdays only, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

 Ensure that you email copies of documents first to consular@ghc-uk.org before submitting the original documents in person or via post.
